Ford Motor Co.'s Jaguar, whose U.S. sales have fallen 25 per cent since 2002, has developed an all-aluminum prototype sports car that the U.K.-based unit called a preview of future models.

Jaguar showed the Advanced Lightweight Coupe today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Jaguar's U.S. sales fell to 45,875 last year from 61,204 in 2002. Of its four models, only the XJ increased sales during the period.
