BMW expects new models to boost record sales

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, the world's second-largest maker of luxury cars, said sales will reach a record this year after the company reported a 9.4-per-cent gain in 2004, boosted by new models.

BMW expects to report record 2004 earnings as it introduces 10 new models. The company plans to introduce at least two new models a year.
