Ford is celebrating its 100th anniversary in Canada today amid uncertainty over the future of the automaker's Oakville assembly plant.

Premier Dalton McGuinty is joining CEO Bill Ford Jr., the great-grandson of founder Henry Ford, to fill a time capsule and have some cake at the company's Oakville headquarters.

Despite promises of $200-million from the Ontario and federal governments, Ford has not confirmed it will build a promised flexible manufacturing plant in Oakville. CP
