The all-new Saturn ION Quad Coupe
Advertising supplement provided by Saturn
The all-new 2004 Saturn ION Quad Coupe is a totally different way to look at the sport coupe. If you're looking for a car with loads of standard features, sleek styling, functionality, roominess and plenty of get up and go, the ION Quad Coupe is just the car for you.

Innovative Dual Rear Access Doors
The most surprising feature of the all-new Saturn ION Quad Coupe is the dual rear access doors that make getting you and your stuff in and out of the spacious backseat as easy as pie. It may seem like a little thing, but it makes a big difference when you're trying to pile your friends in for a night on the town or a weekend trip out of town.
Centre Mounted Instrument Cluster
The ION's instruments are found in the center of the dashboard. So eyes can naturally glance at them when looking at the horizon. One less reason to look down. Moving all the gauges from their usual place allowed us to create a smaller, sportier steering wheel, which makes it easier to get in and out of the driver's seat. The bonus: when you adjust the steering wheel, it's for comfort alone.
True Performance
Get up and go. The all-new 2004 Saturn ION Quad Coupe comes equipped with a 140-horsepower Ecotec™ 2.2-litre, DOHC, inline four-cylinder engine. You'll be hard-pressed to find this much power in other cars of this class. The engine works in tandem with the standard German-engineered five-speed manual transmission, allowing you to optimize control for an all-out feel for the road. If you prefer an automatic, the Quad Coupe is one of the few cars in its class to offer an optional VTi transmission, which provides smooth, seamless shifting on fast-moving freeways. Every ION is additionally equipped with front and rear stabilizer bars for a crisp, sporty ride.
